The people who are so selfishly petitioning against this stadium are not patriotic. Would they rather have crumbling old stadiums - with all the accompanying social problems - or something to be proud of? Maybe they are satisfied to look at the new facilities in countries like England and merely envy them their ability to move on with this kind of thing. Moreover, isn't La Defense a business, not residential, area?
