I am an English speaking Flickr member and stand in support of this petition. Flickr has provided for its members a unique venue for its users to share their photographic and to learn from and get to know one another through numerous groups. We do not speak the same language in words but communicate our passions through photography. I have learned from members of flickr by viewing their work and by their response to my own work. By this means I have learned much and have grown as a photographer. Flickr's unique platform for sharing the photographic arts has formed a global community which extends itself beyond words. As it is often said, "a picture is worth a thousand words." I encourage the Flickr providers to continue to support the group formats for members to share and respond to one another in the group format and to provide support for our multilingual community. There is no other like it and Flickr may be at the edge of losing one of its most unique and influential assets.
